We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team at our office located in Albany, New York.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the design phase of semiconductor facilities projects. You will apply exceptional project management skills, past project knowledge, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of design elements into the construction process. 

Additional Responsibilities

• Oversee the design phase of semiconductor facilities projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop comprehensive design strategies, incorporating project-based industry best practices for basebuild and/or tool install requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to facilitate effective communication throughout the project life cycle.
• Conduct regular design reviews to assess progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and related documents, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and best practices.

The salary offered for this role is between $145,000 and $222,000, but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, construction methods, and semiconductor industry standards with exceptional project management skills.
• Expertise in basebuild and/or tool install aspects of semiconductor facilities projects is strongly preferred, depending on the defined scope of work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
